Enterprise Biloela Board of Directors Executive:

President:  Di Morris

I grew up in Biloela, trained as a nurse in Brisbane, and lived and worked overseas before marrying Don, a local boy. We then travelled and worked overseas, with the view of coming back into the family business, Grevells Homemakers, in 1980.
I worked at Biloela Hospital, Wahroonga, and Oxley Clinic in nursing.
We have two children, both born in Biloela.  They now both live in Biloela, after also being away for educational and other reasons.  I also boast a daughter-in-law and granddaughter (of Norwegian descent) who live here.

My pro-active involvement in Agforce Biloela, and the State Committee for Rural Communities;  being a Banana Shire Councillor for a second term; and my connections to Anglicare; Rural Division of General Practice and many other groups; organisations and individuals throughout this community and externally; assists with the view of making a difference.

Identifying, investigating, planning and reviewing strategies to improve services, quality of life, economic and social development for our communities being the aim.

The development of and continuance of the Biloela Comedy and Food Festival with the vision of “Host an annual event to enrich the economic and social fabric of the towns, The Banana shire and the region” I feel encapsulates this practice.

Continually I strive to promote the area as a great place to grow, live, invest and retire, and invite others to also apply this philosophy.
