Energy's Callide Power Station provides reliable power to the
national electricity market from the heart of central Queensland.
The coal-fired power station is located 18 kilometres east of
Biloela and has a total site capacity of 1,720 megawatts.
Callide operates as
a 'base load' power station, providing electricity around the clock,
seven days a week. Employing almost 200 people, Callide Power
Station offers a variety of exciting job opportunities in
professional and trades roles.
Callide Power
Station is owned by CS Energy, a Queensland Government owned
generator, which also has power stations at Ipswich, Mount Isa and
Chinchilla.
